Under the agreement, Robinhood will route certain football-related retail contracts through OG.com, a derivatives exchange and clearinghouse registered with the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC).
Robinhood will also take minority equity stakes in both Crypto.com and OG.com, although financial terms were not disclosed.

The deal comes as prediction markets become a growing part of Robinhood’s business. More than 45 billion contracts have been traded on its platform since launch, including 13.6 billion in the second quarter and more than 5 billion during the World Cup, according to company figures.
Robinhood already works with venues including Kalshi, ForecastEx and Rothera, making the Crypto.com deal part of a broader strategy to diversify the sources of event contracts available to its customers.
“Teaming up with Crypto.com and OG.com strengthens our position as a leader in the prediction markets space and gives us even more skin in the game,” said JB Mackenzie, VP and GM of Futures and Prediction Markets at Robinhood.
