Trump Crypto Coin Future: Can TRUMP Recover From Its 97% Collapse and Reach $10?

The Trump crypto coin has been through one of the most dramatic boom-and-bust cycles in the memecoin market. Official Trump (TRUMP▲$1.78) reached an all-time high of $73.43 shortly after launching in January 2025. By September 2026, it was trading around $2.20 — approximately 97% below that peak.

Yet TRUMP is not dead. The token still has a market capitalization near $600 million and enough speculative interest to more than double from its August low during a sudden memecoin rally. The question is whether the token can stage a much more modest recovery to $10 — and what would have to happen for that target to become realistic.

What Is the Trump Crypto Coin?

Official Trump is a Solana-based memecoin launched on January 17, 2025, days before Donald Trump returned to the White House.

The token became one of the biggest memecoin launches ever. Traders rushed into TRUMP after its announcement, sending the price above $70 and briefly creating a multibillion-dollar valuation.

But its tokenomics were unusual from the beginning.

Only 200 million TRUMP were initially made available, while the maximum supply is 1 billion tokens. According to the official project website, CIC Digital LLC, an affiliate of the Trump Organization, and Fight Fight Fight LLC collectively control 80% of the token allocation, subject to a three-year release schedule.
