The disclosure appeared in the "Subsequent Events" section of Trump Media’s earnings report.

The company behind Truth Social held 9,477.16 $BTC on its balance sheet as of June 30, valued at $557.094 million—down 33% from the amount reported for the six months ended Dec. 31, 2025.

Overall, the company recorded a loss of $306.69 million on its “digital assets” in the first half of 2026, which also includes a stash of Cronos .

For July, Trump Media reported holding 14,139 $BTC at an aggregate value of $890.52 million. This means it added 4,661.84 $BTC to its reserves last month, worth $333.43 million

At current prices, the 14,139 $BTC stash would be worth more than $904 million.

Trump Maintains Massive Stake in DJT

Notably, Trump Media last month— a Truth Social Bitcoin ETF, a Truth Social Bitcoin & Ethereum ETF, and a Truth Social Crypto Blue Chip ETF. ETF

Trump maintains a 41.5% stake in the company, according to the latest 13D filing, translating to a total of 114,750,000 shares. At Monday’s closing price, this equated to $1.07 billion.

Notably, Trump transferred his entire to a trust controlled by his eldest son, Donald Trump Jr., before his swearing-in.

Trump Media Reports Losses Again

Trump Media reported a net loss of more than $238 million in the second quarter, the “vast bulk” of which it said was due to unrealized losses on its digital assets.

It posted $1.7 million in revenue, up 89% from the $0.9 million in revenue generated in the second quarter of 2025.

Notably, the firm of $405.9 million on $871,200 in revenue.

Price Action: At the time of writing, $BTC was exchanging hands at $63,998.30, down 1.76% over the last 24 hours, according to data from Benzinga Pro.

Trump Media shares fell 0.53% in after-hours trading after closing 8.03% lower at $9.39 during Monday’s regular trading session. Year-to-date, the stock has plunged 29%.

Benzinga’s Edge Stock Rankings indicate that DJT’s price trend is stronger in the short and medium term, though it trails over the long term.
