But Glassnode data shows BTC gained 23% over 21 trading days through September 9. Why Did the Coinbase CEO Call a Bitcoin Price Prediction Floor?
Armstrong pointed to the four year cycle that has shaped BTC since its start, per Investing.com. The next halving is set for 2028. Every past cycle saw the price rise for one to two years before the halving. BTC at $77,160 is 38% below its peak.
That gap, Armstrong says, is the floor, not the ceiling. On the same day, Bitcoin ETFs lost $283 million in a single session, per Wu Blockchain on X. The sell off hit three days in a row and reached $449 million. Short term fear is real, but the long view is what moves capital into early bets.
