The final week of August is scheduled to bring several important developments across the crypto market. There are major updates lined up for Pi Network, Arbitrum, Monad, Stable and Stellar between August 24 and August 27.

While these events are unlikely to move the entire crypto market on their own, they might create fresh narratives around tokenized stocks, stablecoins, blockchain scalability, AI applications and real-world asset adoption.

Some massive events incoming this week.

We used @ElanInsights's comprehensive crypto calendar to prepare for what should be a big week for crypto.

24 August: Pi Network Changes App Studio Pricing

The first major update comes from Pi Network, which is changing the pricing structure for its Pi App Studio on August 24.

Previously, creators could create or edit applications for just 0.25 Pi, with Pi Network covering much of the underlying AI costs. Now, under the new system, pricing will more closely reflect the actual cost of AI services.

However, apps that attract real users and provide meaningful utility can still qualify for subsidized pricing. Eligibility will also be reviewed regularly, allowing developers to improve their applications and potentially qualify later.

For Pi, the biggest impact will be on utility rather than immediate price. Higher development costs may reduce low-quality applications, while successful apps boost demand for the token within the ecosystem.
