Ether.fi: Crypto neobank upgrade goes live - 13 Aug 2026

Ether.fi says its upgraded crypto neobank is live across Web, iOS, and Android, adding tokenized stocks and metals trading, portfolio-backed borrowing through an integrated Aave market on Optimism, expanded currency on- and off-ramps, and new payment methods. The rollout is described in the project's announcement, which presents the app as a single place to earn, trade, borrow, and spend.

The release broadens ether.fi from a yield-focused product into a banking-style platform covering asset access, credit, funding, and payments. Tokenized markets add more activities within the app, while portfolio-backed borrowing connects existing holdings to credit through Aave. Expanded ramps and payment methods can reduce the number of separate services users need for moving funds and spending.
