Grayscale has withdrawn exchange-traded fund filings tied to Cardano’s ADA, Hedera’s HBAR and Polkadot’s DOT, according to AltcoinBuzz. The withdrawals remove three proposed products from the firm’s ETF pipeline and drew attention across the altcoin market.
ADA is the native token of the Cardano blockchain, HBAR is used by the Hedera network, and DOT supports Polkadot’s multichain ecosystem. An ETF is a regulated investment product designed to provide market exposure through shares traded on an exchange, rather than requiring investors to directly hold the underlying asset.
The development prompted price reactions in ADA, HBAR and DOT, as reported by AltcoinBuzz. ETF filings are closely watched in crypto markets because they can signal efforts to broaden access to digital-asset exposure through traditional financial channels.
A withdrawn filing does not itself determine the long-term outlook for a token or network. It does, however, end or pause the specific application process unless a sponsor chooses to submit a new filing in the future.
