Insider Brief

  • QNu Labs has launched QShield 2.0, the platform powering its National Cryptographic Assessment & Assurance Framework (NCAAF) for cryptographic discovery, risk assessment and continuous assurance.
  • NCAAF uses five QShield 2.0 modules covering quantum entropy, quantum readiness risk assessment, quantum PKI, quantum vault and AI security.
  • QNu Labs said the framework is intended to help organizations identify cryptographic assets, assess quantum and classical risks, and maintain ongoing cryptographic assurance.

PRESS RELEASE — Most organisations cannot currently produce an accurate account of their own cryptography. QNu Labs, a global leader in quantum security solutions, has launched QShield 2.0 today, the platform powering its National Cryptographic Assessment & Assurance Framework (NCAAF), at its 10th anniversary event in Bengaluru.

The launch lands against a tightening regulatory picture. India’s Department of Science and Technology, under the National Quantum Mission, published a Task Force Report in February 2026, “Implementation of Quantum Safe Ecosystem in India”, recommending that critical infrastructure sectors begin formal post-quantum cryptography implementation by 2027. Gartner places the arrival of a cryptographically relevant quantum computer capable of breaking RSA-2048 within the 2030 to 2035 window.
