Spot Bitcoin ETFs pulled in $242.30 million on Thursday, extending their inflow streak to nine consecutive trading days. Spot Ethereum ETFs moved in near-perfect sync, adding $235 million for their own ninth straight day of inflows, according to BeInCrypto.
The two categories attracted a combined $2.3 billion last week, their biggest weekly haul since October, suggesting institutions are adding exposure across both major crypto assets rather than simply rotating between them.
Smaller crypto ETFs also joined the buying spree on Thursday, with spot Solana funds taking in $60.91 million and spot Hyperliquid ETFs attracting $24.42 million.
Bitcoin traded near $80,000, while Ether hovered around $2,480. Total net assets in spot Bitcoin ETFs stood at $79.16 billion, with category trading volume reaching $8.23 billion, according to CoinGlass.
QUICK CONTEXT: Crypto ETF Demand Broadens Again
The latest inflows extend a notable stretch of institutional demand for crypto ETFs. BlackRock’s iShares Bitcoin Trust(NASDAQ:IBIT) alone accounted for $209 million of the $338 million that flowed into spot Bitcoin ETFs on Aug. 24, while its iShares Ethereum Trust (NASDAQ:ETHA) attracted $90.92 million of that day’s $116 million in Ethereum ETF inflows.
