要点速览

  • XRP reportedly gained roughly 50% and reached multi-month highs.
  • The article links the move to ETF inflows.
  • Whale accumulation was also cited as a factor behind the rally.

XRP has staged one of its most powerful rallies of the year, climbing roughly 50% from its recent lows to touch $1.6963 on Saturday, its highest level since January. The token's explosive advance has been driven by a combination of accelerating ETF inflows, persistent accumulation by large holders, and a broader improvement in risk appetite across the cryptocurrency market.

The rally pushed XRP into extremely overbought territory, with the Relative Strength Index reaching 85.4, a level not seen since July of last year. That technical extreme has raised questions about whether the momentum can be sustained, even as the underlying fundamentals continue to strengthen.

ETF Inflows and Whale Activity Signal Conviction

Exchange-traded funds tracking XRP have become a focal point for institutional demand. On Friday alone, these products attracted more than $18 million in fresh capital, bringing the weekly total to $40 million, the strongest pace of inflows since May. The Bitwise XRP ETF led the way, adding more than $12.2 million and pushing its net assets to $442 million. The Franklin Templeton product followed with $1.49 million in inflows, bringing its total to $433.8 million.

Beyond the ETF complex, on-chain data points to sustained accumulation by whales. More than 240 million XRP tokens have left exchanges since the start of summer, a pattern that typically reduces available supply and signals that large holders expect prices to appreciate over time. The shrinking exchange balance has coincided with the recent price acceleration, reinforcing the view that buying pressure is coming from multiple sources.
