Yuya Hasegawa, Analyst an der großen japanischen Börse bitbank, stellte fest, dass der in Yen denominierte Preis am Mittag des 14. bei etwa ¥10.1 million (ungefähr $63,400) „in einem leicht schwachen Ton verharrte“. In Dollar ausgedrückt fiel BTC auf etwa $62,500 und näherte sich damit seinen Tiefstständen vom August.

Die Woche begann mit einem BTC-Handel von etwa ¥10.3 million (ungefähr $64,700) gegenüber dem Yen, doch die Hoffnungen auf ein Friedensabkommen schwanden, als sowohl die USA als auch der Iran konkurrierende Forderungen nach Kriegsreparationen stellten. Inmitten steigender Rohölpreise wurde BTC während der US-Handelszeiten auf etwa ¥10.2 million (ungefähr $64,000) abverkauft. Am 11. lehnte der Iran erneut Forderungen ab, seine Blockade der Straße von Hormus aufzuheben, was BTC unter ¥10.2 million drückte. Mitte der Woche stiegen die US-Zinsen nach der Veröffentlichung des VPI für Juli, und BTC gelang es nicht, das Niveau von ¥10.2 million zurückzuerobern. Der Markt blieb danach relativ fest, ließ aber eine klare Richtung vermissen.
