Quantum Blockchain Technologies says all three Bitcoin mining methods are live

Quantum Blockchain Technologies PLC (AIM:QBT, FRA:BYA1) told investors that all three of its Bitcoin mining technologies are now mining live through mining pools, advancing its commercialisation programme while performance testing continues.

Its Method A technology is running on a Bitmain Antminer S9 connected to a public mining pool. The proprietary learning and trained modules now operate remotely on QBT's servers, allowing potential customers to test the technology without the company installing its intellectual property at their facilities.

Method A is also configured for Bitmain's S19 and S21 rigs through aftermarket control boards and firmware. QBT has engaged three manufacturers with a view to deploying it on those machines.

Meanwhile, Method B's chaos-mathematics variant is mining on Bitaxe Gamma machines at QBT's Milan research facility. Method C, its AI Oracle, is running live on the Mining Development Kit supplied by an unnamed chipmaker working with QBT under a non-disclosure agreement.

A new software layer will also enable Methods A and B to run on that manufacturer's mining rig to collect data ahead of commercialisation. QBT continues to benchmark Methods A and B against standard software and will report Method A's sustained performance results once testing is complete.
