XRP Poised for Breakout as Spot ETFs Near $2 Billion and Golden Cross Forms

XRP(CRYPTO: XRP)has lagged several major altcoins through September, but a wave of institutional money flowing into spot exchange-traded funds and a rare bullish technical signal are setting the stage for what analysts say could be a decisive move toward the $2 level.

The token changed hands at $1.5485 on Saturday, down roughly 1.2% over the prior 24 hours after touching $1.62 during Friday's session. The pullback followed a four-day winning streak that pushed XRP to $1.65 on September 25, its highest level since January. Behind the choppy price action, the underlying demand picture has been strengthening across multiple fronts.

Spot XRP ETFs recorded $22.6 million in net inflows on Friday, the fourth consecutive day of positive flows. The funds have added more than $117 million over that stretch, lifting cumulative inflows to approximately $1.8 billion. Total assets under management now exceed $1.7 billion, putting the category within striking distance of the $2 billion milestone that would mark a significant endorsement from American retail and institutional investors.

The Bitwise XRP ETF(NYSE:XRP)leads the category with $647 million in accumulated assets. Franklin Templeton's XRPZ and Canary's XRPC round out the top three products. The steady accumulation has coincided with broader crypto ETF demand: Bitcoin funds have pulled in more than $2.4 billion this month, while Ethereum and Solana products have added $877 million and $264 million respectively.
