A large majority of German Volksbanken are expected to complete MiCA notification and activate meinKrypto crypto trading, bringing Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin and Cardano purchases into the VR Banking App nationwide. The rollout covers hundreds of cooperative banks and lets German retail customers buy the four assets directly through their existing banking app.
Litecoin launches among the first four tradable assets on meinKrypto, alongside Bitcoin, Ethereum and Cardano. This gives the asset regulated one-click access to German retail customers through hundreds of cooperative banks. As bank activations roll out nationwide, investors can expect a new, broad retail demand channel that operates inside an established banking app rather than a separate crypto exchange.
