Crypto ETFs just had one of their best days of 2026, and they picked a strange moment to do it. On September 14, spot Bitcoin ETFs pulled in $160 million in net inflows, Ethereum ETFs attracted $121 million, and Solana ETFs added another $11 million, all while bond yields sat at elevated levels and crude oil prices kept climbing.

BlackRock's IBIT led the charge, contributing $134.3 million of the $160 million that flowed into Bitcoin ETFs on September 14. Fidelity's FBTC added $53.3 million. Together, those two products accounted for more than the total net inflow, meaning some smaller funds saw redemptions while the heavyweights kept vacuuming up capital.

Cumulative inflows into spot BTC ETFs have now reached $55.31 billion, pushing total assets under management to $100.09 billion.

Ethereum ETFs weren't far behind on a percentage basis. The $121 million haul on September 14 was primarily driven by BlackRock's offerings.

Solana's ETF story is still in its early chapters. The $11 million inflow brought cumulative inflows to roughly $1.37 billion, with total AUM sitting at approximately $1.46 billion.

Recent weeks have displayed mixed patterns on a day-to-day basis. Some sessions saw Bitcoin face outflows while ETH and SOL gained traction, suggesting rotation within the crypto ETF complex rather than blanket buying. On select days like September 3, combined BTC and ETH inflows exceeded $800 to $900 million.

BlackRock and Fidelity have established themselves as the gatekeepers of institutional crypto exposure, consistently leading inflows across Bitcoin, Ethereum, and now Solana categories.

With regulatory frameworks for digital assets continuing to evolve across multiple jurisdictions, some allocators appear to be building positions ahead of potential policy shifts that could further legitimize the asset class.
