Crucible founder Meltem Demirors stated that while Bitcoin laid the groundwork for the current AI infrastructure boom, the primary product of computing has become “intelligence” rather than cryptocurrency. According to her, trillions of dollars in capital are now being directed towards AI.
She cited CoreWeave, which started with Ethereum mining, and Crusoe, which mined Bitcoin using flare gas, as examples.
