“I consider a price of $400,000 per Bitcoin by 2030 to be a perfectly reasonable and achievable target,” said Brian Armstrong, according to bits.media.

He believes that the US Congress’s work on the CLARITY bill, which clarifies the regulation of cryptocurrencies, is nearing final approval. Even if the bill is not passed, Armstrong expects the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) to introduce clearer rules for the market within one or two weeks.

Speaking about the prospects for the crypto industry up to 2027, the Coinbase CEO anticipates growth in payment volumes based on stablecoins, the development of tokenisation of shares and real assets, the prediction market, and financial services utilising AI agents.

Earlier, Arthur Hayes, co-founder of the BitMEX crypto exchange, stated that for Bitcoin to rise to $250,000–500,000, the market would likely require a new financial crisis. According to the businessman, such a crisis would force the world’s largest central banks to sharply increase the money supply, thereby supporting demand for crypto-assets.
