  • Analysis suggests the rapid increase in Ethereum’s new addresses could lead to future price gains.
  • The daily number of new addresses climbed about 75% in eight days, from 121,210 to 212,560, indicating Ethereum’s network growth is accelerating.
  • Martinez said sustained increases in network growth and user adoption have previously been followed by sharp gains in Ethereum’s price, and that the latest surge in new addresses could be a positive signal for future price trends.

Forecast Trend Report by Period

A rapid increase in new addresses on the Ethereum network may signal further price gains ahead, according to crypto analyst Ali Martinez.

On August 16, Martinez said Ethereum’s daily new addresses surged to 212,560 from 121,210 on August 8. That represents an increase of about 75% in eight days.

He said the jump points to accelerating network growth for Ethereum.

"Network growth is one of the strongest on-chain indicators of user adoption," Martinez said. "In the past, when this kind of growth persisted, Ethereum’s price saw substantial gains."

If the recent surge in new addresses continues rather than fading as a short-term move, it could support broader growth in Ethereum’s user base and serve as a positive signal for the token’s future price trend.
