What’s Next For Bitcoin, Ethereum And XRP Prices As Crypto Market Hits $3 Trillion?

The total crypto market cap has climbed to $3.01 trillion, up 0.9% over the past day, with $141.8 billion in trading volume. Bitcoin sits at $85,980.96, Ethereum at $2,750.36, and XRP at $1.54, and behind each of those numbers is a different technical setup.

Bitcoin: Officially Back In A Bull Market, But Running Hot

Bitcoin touched $87,000 this week, breaking above its old May resistance near $82,814, a level analysts have flagged as marking the official return of a bull market. On the daily chart, MACD has crossed bullish and Bitcoin has moved into overbought territory, which is why price has cooled slightly to around $85,500.

The broader structure has followed what’s known as a Wyckoff accumulation pattern, and if that continues to play out, some analysts see a path toward $90,000 to $100,000. Others expect a top closer to $92,000 followed by a retest of the low $70,000s before the next leg higher into 2027. Neither outcome is guaranteed, but both scenarios assume the broader trend has already turned upward.

Bloomberg’s James Seyffart has said the average Bitcoin ETF holder is back above their cost basis of roughly $81,722 for the first time since January, a shift that could bring renewed inflows into major funds like BlackRock’s Bitcoin ETF.
