Singapore Exchange will offer US institutional investors access to Bitcoin and Ether perpetual futures as early as next month.

BlockBeats and other outlets reported on Sept. 10 that SGX recently secured approval from the Commodity Futures Trading Commission to provide Bitcoin and Ether perpetual futures trading to US institutional investors.

SGX said the move would help connect US traditional finance institutions with Asia's liquidity pools. It added that the approval marks a deeper integration of crypto derivatives into the regulated traditional financial system.
